Sustainable Water: Extending the Lifecycle of Water.

Water: We use it more than we think. From our clothes, to the goods and services we use daily, to the energy we rely on: water is the hidden resource we depend on to maintain and enhance our lives. Americans use more than 400 billion gallons of water in one day, more than our total oil consumption in one year!

Problem: There’s not enough for everyone. In the US our water use consumption over the past 50 years has increased 127%. This consumption, combined with aging infrastructure, has caused water rates to increase 9% annually on average. A solution is needed to help manage the water usage associated with our vast population growth. This solution must be cost-effective, while helping to reduce the burden on existing water infrastructure and lessen the strain on the natural environment.

Solution: Water Conservation and Reuse. Sustainable Water is a North American water consulting firm specializing in water conservation and reuse. From decentralized adaptive ecosystems, such as The BlueHouse shown in the video above, or other water conservation measures our clients lower their water intake and output, reduce their overall water costs, lower their impact on the current water infrastructure, and minimize the amount of harmful discharge that is ultimately discharged to our environment.

Our clients include colleges and universities, office parks, industrial facilities, and all other water users interested in implementing environmentally sustainable practices.
